LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.78 g, 11 h). Bearded head of Leukippos to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, cross-torch. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; above leaf, |-H. HN Italy 1555. Johnston Class A, 5.8. SNG ANS 405. Darkly toned. The obverse struck from a somewhat worn die with minor die breaks, otherwise, very fine.
